Terms page · Effective July 22, 2026

Clear terms. No fine print games.

This is the agreement between you and R-MAP, written to be read. It covers your account, membership, what you may do with the models, and the honest limits of decision-support software — in the same plain language the platform uses everywhere else.

The R-MAP universe — every model family under one set of rules
One platform · one plain-language agreement
01 · The agreement

Using R-MAP means accepting these terms.

Creating an account, joining the waitlist, purchasing a membership, or simply using the free demos means you accept the terms on this page. If they change materially, the effective date above changes and the difference is called out — never slipped in.

Who you’re dealing with

A maker-run platform

  • R-MAP the Risk Modeling & Analytics Platform — the website, the model library, the Knowledge Webs, and the member backend.
  • The operator R-MAP is operated by R-MAP LLC, a Washington limited liability company, built, run, and supported by Francisco Mavungo. Agreements, questions, and disputes go directly via the Support page.
  • You an individual using the platform for professional or personal decision work. You must be 18 or older and able to form a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.
Your account

Yours to use, yours to protect

  • Accurate email your address is your identity and the only channel for support and billing notices.
  • One person per account memberships are individual. Credential sharing isn’t permitted — team access is on the roadmap, and writing in helps prioritize it.
  • Your credentials keep your password to yourself; actions taken under your sign-in are treated as yours.
02 · Allowed use

What your access covers — and what it doesn’t.

Membership buys a license to use the platform, not ownership of it. The line is simple: use the models for your own decision work as much as you like; don’t take the models themselves.

Use it fully

Run every model with your own data, save scenarios, export your results, print layouts, and use the outputs in your own reports, decks, and decisions — commercial work included.

Your data stays yours

Everything you type into a model — registers, assumptions, scenarios — remains yours. R-MAP claims no rights over your inputs or your results. The Privacy page covers where they live.

Don’t redistribute

Member models, Knowledge Webs, and scoring logic are licensed to you, not to the internet. Copying, reselling, re-hosting, scraping, or bulk-downloading gated content isn’t permitted.

Don’t break the gate

The membership gate is enforced on the server. Probing it, bypassing it, or hammering the scoring endpoints with automated traffic is a fast way to lose access.

03 · Membership & billing

Simple commercial terms.

Pre-launch, everything below the free demos routes to the waitlist and nothing is charged. Once billing is live, these are the terms.

Subscription

Renews until you cancel

Memberships renew automatically at the listed price. Cancel any time from the self-serve billing portal — access continues through the period you’ve already paid for, and nothing renews after that.

Payments

Processed by Stripe

Billing runs through Stripe as the payment processor. Card numbers never touch R-MAP’s servers, and receipts and card changes are handled in the billing portal.

Price changes

Notice first, always

If a membership price changes, you get notice by email before your next renewal — you decide whether to continue at the new price. No silent adjustments.

Refunds

Fair, and final by design

Free demos let you try before you buy, so purchases are generally final: individual items are non-refundable once you open them, and refundable within 14 days only if unopened. Memberships cancel any time — the current period isn’t refunded. Genuine faults are handled case-by-case, and the full Refund & Purchase Policy governs.

04 · Intellectual property

What belongs to whom

  • The platform models, flight decks, Knowledge Webs, scoring methods, visuals, and the R-MAP™ mark are the operator’s intellectual property, protected by copyright.
  • Your inputs & outputs the data you enter and the results you generate are yours, for any purpose.
  • Feedback ideas you send in may be used to improve the platform, with thanks — that’s the entire feedback clause.
  • Free demos share demo links freely; that’s what they’re for. The gated library is licensed per member.
05 · Availability

Built carefully, promised honestly

  • As-is service R-MAP is provided as-is, without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation.
  • Maintenance models and infrastructure are actively maintained; brief downtime for updates can happen without notice.
  • Evolution models improve over time — features may be refined, added, or replaced as the platform grows. Material removals from a paid tier are called out, not hidden.
  • Your safety net every model offers ⤓ save-to-file, so your setups are always exportable and portable.
06 · The honest limits

Decision support, not decision replacement.

This is the section that matters most, so it’s written the most plainly.

Models inform, you decide

R-MAP structures assumptions, exposure, and tradeoffs so a human can decide better. Outputs depend entirely on the inputs and assumptions you provide — validate them against your own context before acting.

Not professional advice

Nothing on the platform is engineering certification, legal counsel, medical guidance, or financial or investment advice. High-consequence decisions deserve a qualified professional who knows your specific situation.

Sample data demonstrates

Models ship with industry-real sample data so they demonstrate themselves. Sample figures are illustrative — never a substitute for your own numbers.

Liability, bounded

To the maximum extent the law allows, R-MAP’s total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for membership in the twelve months before the claim — and never covers indirect or consequential losses from decisions made with the tools.

07 · Ending things

Termination, changes, and where disputes go.

The exits are as plain as the entrances.

You leave

Cancel or delete any time

Cancel your membership from the billing portal, or ask for full account deletion via the Privacy process — both are honored without hoops.

Access ends

For breaking the rules

Accounts that share credentials, redistribute gated content, or attack the platform can be suspended or closed. Where the situation allows, you get a warning and a chance to make it right first.

Questions

Talk first

Any question or dispute about these terms starts with an email — enable JavaScript to reveal — and almost always ends there too. These terms are governed by the laws of Washington State, USA; the state and federal courts in Kittitas County, Washington have jurisdiction, and you keep any mandatory consumer rights in your home jurisdiction.

These terms work alongside the Privacy page, which governs data. If any single clause is found unenforceable, the rest stand.
