Troubleshooting

Try these first.

Most issues resolve with one of the steps below. If yours doesn’t, email with the details and it gets looked at directly.

A member model won’t open — I get sent to sign in or to the membership page

Protected pages are enforced on the server, so what you see tells you exactly what’s happening. Redirected to sign in: your session isn’t active — sign in and you’ll be returned to the model you asked for. Redirected to membership: your account is valid but isn’t a member yet — membership (or the waitlist, pre-launch) is the path in. If you believe you are a member and still get bounced, email support with your account email; that’s a priority fix.

I keep getting signed out

Sessions are signed tokens that expire after 7 days — signing back in issues a fresh one. If it happens sooner: check that your browser isn’t blocking or clearing cookies for this site, and that you’re not in a private/incognito window, which discards the session when closed.

My lab setup didn’t restore when I came back

Two different mechanisms exist. On this device: models remember your sliders and inputs in the browser’s local storage — that memory is per-browser and per-device, and clearing site data erases it. In your account: members can save named setups to their account from the FX toolbar (the ☁ button while signed in), which follows you across devices. You can also use ⤓ Save to file on any model to keep a portable .json copy.

Animations and effects — too much, or not working

Every model page has the round FX chip (bottom-right). Open it and toggle ✨ to switch all motion off or on — the preference is remembered on your device. The ▶ auto-tour, annotate mode, palette studio, and print layout all live in the same toolbar. Press Ctrl/⌘ + K anywhere for the quick-jump palette.

Checkout says billing isn’t available

Pre-launch, payments are intentionally switched off and every join button routes to the waitlist instead. Leave your email there and you’ll be first through the door when memberships go live — nothing is lost in the meantime.

A page looks broken or won’t load

Do a hard refresh first (Cmd+Shift+R / Ctrl+Shift+R) — it clears a stale cached copy. R-MAP targets current versions of Safari, Chrome, Edge, and Firefox on desktop; models are dense instruments and want a laptop-class screen. Still broken? Email the page name, browser, and a screenshot.

FAQ

Asked often, answered here.

The short versions of the questions that reach the support inbox most.

Do I need an account to try R-MAP?

No. The free demos — FORGE, GAPMAP, and Hazard Mind Radar — open directly, no account, no email. An account only becomes relevant when you want member models, Knowledge Webs, or cloud-saved lab setups.

What exactly does membership unlock?

The full model library — the enterprise flight decks, the risk-intelligence suite, the method & venture instruments, and the EHS labs — plus account-saved lab scenarios and server-side scoring. Knowledge Webs are the platform’s self-paced courses and follow their own access, with per-course pricing planned.

Does my data stay in my browser?

By default, yes. What you type into a model — registers, scores, scenarios — lives in the page and in your browser’s local storage. It reaches R-MAP’s servers in exactly two cases: when a member explicitly saves a setup to their account, and when a member model computes an official score server-side. The full picture is on the Privacy page.

Can I use my own numbers instead of the sample data?

That’s the point of the whole platform. Every instrument ships with industry-real sample data so it demonstrates itself, and every editable field accepts your own values — several models also import CSV directly.

How do I cancel or get a receipt once billing is live?

Billing runs on Stripe. When it’s live you’ll manage your subscription — cancel, update card, download receipts — from a self-serve billing portal, and canceling keeps access through the period you’ve paid for. Until launch, there’s simply nothing to cancel.

Can I share a model with a colleague?

Send them a demo link freely — that’s what demos are for. Member pages are tied to the signed-in account and enforced server-side, so the useful way to share the full library is for your colleague to join too. Team access is on the roadmap; write in if that’s you.
